Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the GreenDrop Logistics app and the delivery service we provide (“Service”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GreenDrop is a same-day delivery platform that connects customers with independent drivers (“Riders”) to move parcels and groceries within supported cities. We do not employ Riders; they operate as independent contractors.

2. Eligibility & account

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country).
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One person, one account. Sharing or selling accounts is prohibited.

3. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off addresses and recipient contact information.
• Do not request delivery of prohibited items (cash, weapons, illegal goods, hazardous materials, live animals, perishables outside permitted categories).
• Be available — or designate someone — to hand over the package at pickup, and to receive it on arrival.
• Pay any agreed delivery fee, plus surcharges (express, weekend, weather, after-hours) as displayed before checkout.

4. Driver (Rider) responsibilities

• Hold a valid licence and insurance for the vehicle type you use.
• Complete identity and document verification before accepting jobs.
• Handle packages with care and follow customer drop-off instructions.
• Operate safely and comply with all applicable traffic laws.
• Treat customers professionally. Repeated low ratings or complaints may result in suspension.

5. Pricing & payment

Delivery prices are calculated from a base fee plus a per-kilometre rate, with optional surcharges shown before you confirm. We accept cards and Apple Pay through Stripe; we do not store full card details. Payment is captured at booking. Drivers receive their share according to the published payment model (base 55 % of price plus career multiplier and any express bonus).

6. GreenDrop Plus subscription

GreenDrop Plus is an optional monthly subscription that unlocks discounted delivery rates. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the in-app subscription screen; benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds.

7. Cancellation & refunds

• Before a Rider accepts — cancel for free in the app.
• After acceptance, before pickup — a small cancellation fee may apply to compensate the Rider for time and travel.
• After pickup — cancellation is generally not possible; contact support for issues like wrong items or damage and we will assess a refund.
• Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Liability

We provide the platform and arrange delivery on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by incorrect addresses, prohibited items, or events outside our reasonable control (weather, traffic, force majeure). For claims related to damaged or lost parcels handled by a Rider, contact support within 7 days of the delivery date with photos and proof of value.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use GreenDrop to harass anyone, transmit illegal content, scrape the service, or attempt to circumvent its security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or close accounts for violations of these Terms, with notice when reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium, unless mandatory consumer-protection law grants you a different forum.
